Resolved by the Council of the City of Stillwater,That vy83,500.00be and the
came is hereby levied against all the taxable property of the City of Stillweter,
Abehington County,Minnesota,for City purposes for the year 1234,to be collected
from taxes for the follovirg seperate funds end in the several amounts set
opposite each thereof;

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BORROTING OF MONEY
IN ANTICIPATION OF THE PAYMENT OF TAXES.

RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STILL'RATER,That there shall be issued
and sold,oertificates of indebtedness of the City of Stillwater in the sum of
twenty flue hundred (2500) dollars in anticicetion of the payment of taxes levied
for the General Fund of the City of Stillwater in the year 1933.
Said certificates shall be a general obligation of the City; they shell be dated
January 4,1934,peyaY.e to the bearer on or before March 31,1934 with interest at
54 per annum from date of issue until paid,tnd shall be signed in the name of the
City by its Mayor,sealed vdth its corporate seal and countersigned by its City Clerk.
Said certificates shall be sold by the City Clerk on January 4,1934,or as soon
thereafter es possible, at oar and accrued interest.

RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STILL'VATEP,That beginning January 1,
1934,the salary of the band master of the Stillwater Municipal Bend be,and the
same hereby ie,fixed et the sum of one hundred (170) dollars per month; and the
clerk is hereby authorized and directed to issue his warrants upon the City
Treasurer accordingly.

RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STILLWATER, That there shall be

taxes levied for the General Fund of the City of Stillwater in the year 1933.
Such certificates shall be as follows;
Certificate No. 1 for ten thousand (10000) dollars dated April 5,1934
Certificate No. 2 for five thousand (5000) dollars dated April 5,1934.
Certificate No. 3 for thirty five hundred (3500) dollars dated 1a7 1,1934.
Certificate No. 4 for fifteen hundred (1500) dollars dated Nay 16,1834.
Certificate No. 5 for thirty five hundred (3500) dollars dated .pine 1,1934.
Certificate No. 8 for fifteen hundred (1500) dollars dated June 15,1934.

15,AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS:
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STILLWATER AS FOLLOWSt
1.That it is hereby determined to proceed with the work of sprinkling with
water the portion of the streets embraced within the boundaries of Sprinkling
District Number 14, end the work of sprinkling with tar the portions of the
streets embraced within the boundaries of Sprinkling District Number 15.
2. That the City Clerk ie hereby directed to advertise for bide in accordance
with the provisions of the cbarter,returnable at a regular meeting of the
Council to be held in the Council Chamber in the City Hall on Tuesday the 17
day of April,1934, et 7:30 o'clock P.M.,for doing and furnishing the commodities,
labor and service of sprinkling rith water and tar the portions of the streets
embraced within the boundaries of Sprinkling Districts Numbered 14 and 15 in
accordance with the detailed plans and specifications therefor end the proposed
;ontraots on file in the office of the City Clerk. That in the advertisement
for bids the City Clerk shell request Generate proposals for the work of sprink—
ling with water and with tar.

RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS,SPECIFICATTONS AND ESTIMATE OF THE PROBABLE
TH ECOUNCILSE OF RWILLIMEET TO ACNG A TIINNRELATIONORTH NTOTTHE PROPOSEDAND IWWOORK TIME WHEN
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STILLWATER:
1.That the plans and specifications of the proposed work of relaying a sewer
in and along the center line of North Main street from a point 15 feet south of
the north line of East Myrtle street to the center of Commercial Avenue,
together with an estimate of the probable expense thereof,as prepared by the City
Engineer end presented to the Council for its conaideration,be and the same are
hereby approved and ordered filed in the office of the City Clerk.
2. That Tuesday the 19 day of June,1934,at 7:30 o'clock P. M.,be and is hereby
designated as the time when the Council will meet in the Council Chamber end set
in relation to the proposed improvement,and the City Clerk is hereby directed
to give notice of such meeting in accordance with the provisions of the Charter.

or certificates shall ue dated December 20,1934,shall be made payable to
bearer on or before April 15,1935,at the office of the City Treasurcr,with
interest at the rate of five per cent per a,num,from date of issue until
paid; said certificate or certificates shall be signed by the Mayor,seeled
with its corporate seal,and countersigned by its City Clerk,and shall be
sold by the City Clerk on the date of issue or as soon thereafter as possible,
at par and accrued interest.
Said certificate or Certificates shall state upon its face that the
proceeds thereof shall be Ivied for the said General Fund,and shall state the
whole amount embraced in the tax estimate to be collected 1n the year 1935
for said General Fund.
The proceeds of the tax assessed and collected on account of said fund
and the full faith and credit of the City are hereby irrevocably pledged
for the reclamation of s id certificates so issued.
