RAMSEY-GROVE PARK - A discussion was held regarding tennis courts at this site. It was decided to table this until we see what will be done at the Croixwood Park. I CROIXWOOD SEVENTH - Dennis Sullivan moved, Bill Burtzlaff seconded that a recommendation be made that emphasis be put on this park. We would suggest that the ideas we originally came up with will be pursued - ballfield, tennis courts, parking, playground equipment, and, hopefully, lights for the area. Motion carried 5--0. STAPLES TENNIS COURTS - The lighting on the courts is very inadequate. It was recommended unanimously that this problem be corrected as soon as possible. I SALARIES - It was strongly recommended that a letter be sent to the Administrative Committee regarding their recent action. The 1972 Council set up policies on salaries and they should be adhered to. The Administrative Committee asked that this evening's meeting be held and they failed to show up. LILY LAKE BEACH - There is still a problem involving small youngsters and the older siblings put in charge of ~hese small ones. It is recommended that a sign be painted ani ,a~'t:icle put in the Gazette stating that the guardian of a child under 9 must be at least 15 years of age and should be watching the child. If a child is not being attended to, both will be turned away from the beach. This has been enforced so far and we encourage the lifeguards to further enforce this regulation in the future. NOTICE: The Recreation Commission of the City of Stillwater has made the following policy which the lifeguards will enforce at the Lily Lake Beach. All children under 9 years of age must be accompanied and attended to by a person at least 15 years of age. There are too many non-swimmers being left to find for themselves.
