HomeMy WebLinkAbout4818 (Res.)322 • • 1 RESOLUTION NO. 4817 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Stillwater, Minnesota, that the bid of JAMES J. JUNRER, doing business as Junker Sanitation for furnishing one dual axel, 32 cubic yard capacity truck at a rate of 54C per yard per hour or an effective rate of $17.00 per hour for the vehicle proposed to be used, said equipment to be used for snow removal, in accordance with the specifications and proposal of the bidder which are on file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of Stillwater with said James J. Junker, doing business as Junker Sanitation, and with such other contractors indicating a willing- ness to provide the equipment and services required at said low bid price as the needs of the City may require. Adopted by the city Council this 12th day of December, 1972 published: December 18, 1972 Attest: City Clerk Mayor RESOLUTION NO. 4818 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK -- LOCAL IMPROVEMENT NO. 105. WHEREAS, pursuant to written contract signed with the City on the 19th day of July, 1872, Moelter Construction Co. of Stillwater, Minnesota, has satisfactorily completed construction of Local Improvement No. 105, installation of sewer and water mains on St. Croix Avenue between Second and Third Streets and on North Third Street between St. Croix and Stillwater Avenues in accordance with such contract; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Stillwater, Minnesota, that the work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved, and that a proper warrant be drawn upon the City Treasurer and issued to the contractor for the final payment on said contract.
