Home My WebLink About4763 (Res.)275 • • RESOLUTION NO. 4762 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR ISSUANCE AND PUBLIC SALE OF $140.000 TEMPORARY IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF 1972, SERIES B BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Stillwater, Minnesota, as follows: 1. It is hereby found, determined and declared that it is necessary and expedient for the City forthwith to issue its general obligation bonds in the amount of $140,000 for the purpose of constructing local improvements, including $2,740 of bonds representing interest, as authorized by Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.56. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of sale of said bonds to be published in the official newspaper of the City and in the Commercial West, a weekly financial periodical published in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Mayor and the City Co-ordinator shall meet in the City Hall on September 19, 1972, at 12:00 noon, to receive, open and consider bids for said bonds received pursuant to such notice, and to award sale thereof. This Council will at its regular meeting on September 19 adopt a.resolution providing for the form of bond to be issued and all the terms and conditions of their issuance.
