BE IT RESOLVED. by the City Council of the City of Stillwater, Minnesota that the Public Safety Director is hereby authorized to install Four -Way Stop Signs at the intersection of West Churchill and South Holcombe Streets upon receipt of the approval of the Minnesota Highway Department. Adopted by the Council this 22nd day of August, 1972. published: August 30, 1972 Attest: City Clerk Mayor RESOLUTION NO. 4756 RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT NO. 106. (CROIIXWOOOOD,S AFIRST ADDITION, WATER AND SEWER). CONSTRUCTION OF LOCAL WHEREAS, by signed agreement with the City, the Orrin Thompson Construction Corporation did petition for water and sewer improvements in the Croixwood, First Addition and in such agreement as sole manor of the subdivision did waive the right of a public hearing on such improvements: AND WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 4740 adopted July 11, 1972, the City Council did authorize and direct the City Clerk to advertise for bids returnable at 3:00 o'clock P. M. on Thursday, the 3rd day of August. 1972 for the construction of the aforesaid improvements; AND WHEREAS, it appears from the affidavits of publication presented by the City Clerk that, pursuant to said resolutions, an advertisement for bide was duly al published in the 1972, and inl heer C nstructionzette, Bulletinfon1July�13,aper of 0 andt27.0 1972.on AND WHEREAS, it appears that Kamer. Inc. of Blaine, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of said improvements with a bid of $111.859.50. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STILLWATER. MINNESOTA: 1. That said improvements be, and they are hereby, ordered as proposed. 2. That the bid of Kamer. Inc. be,and the same is hereby accepted; and that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the said Kamer, Inc. in the name of the City for the construction of said improvements for the contract price aforesaid; said contract to be in accordance with the plans and specifications which are on file in the office of the City Clerk. 3. That the City Clerk shall retain the deposits made with the three lowest bids on said improvements for thirty days from and after August 3, 1972, or until contracts are signed, whichever event first occurs.
