BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Stillwater that it has determined that the following described real estate is or is about to be developed as urban commercial property and, THEREFORE, pursuant to the terms of the Orderly Annexation Agreement between the City of Stillwater and the Town of Stillwater, dated August 21, 1975, as amended,the City of Stillwater hereby respectfully petitions the Minnesota Municipal Commission for annexation of the following described property to the City of Stillwater, to -wit: The Southeast (SE) Quarter of the Southwest (SW) Quarter of Section 33, Township 30, Range 20 West, except the West one-half (2) of the West one-half (z) of the Southeast (SE) Quarter of the Southwest (SW) Quarter of Section 33, Township 30, Range 20 West; and That part of the Northwest (NW) Quarter of the Southwest (SW) Quarter, Section 33, Township 30, Range 20 West being the south 170 feet of the north 270 feet of that part of said quarter - quarter, except the south ten (10) feet of the North 270 feet as described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest (SW) corner of said tract and running thence north along the west line of said tract 822 feet to a point, running thence east at right angles 489 feet more or less to the center line of the traveled road running northerly and southerly across said tract, running thence south along the center line of said traveled road to the south line of said quarter -quarter -and running then west along the south line of said tract to place of beginning. (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each issue im- mediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said newspaper is made available at single or subscription prices to any person. corporation, partnership or other unincorporated association requesting the newspaper and making the applicable payment. (8) Said newspaper has complied with all the foregoing conditions for at least one year preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below. (9) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1. 1966 and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by the Publisher and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a legal newspaper.
