WHEREAS, Pauline Webster has served the City of Stillwater for many years as a Member of the Stillwater Library Board; and WHEREAS, the measure of quality of any public entity is in the service it provides; and WHEREAS, the quality of service of the Stillwater Public Library increased signi- ficantly during Pauline Webster's years of service. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Stillwater that Pauline Webster be commended for her dedication and contributions to the Stillwater Public Library and to the Citizens of the City of Stillwater. Adopted by the City Council this 16th day of April, 1985 NOT PUBLISHED Attest: PlitAt42 OYaAA- ity Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 7460 Mayor RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON A PROPOSED HOUSING PLAN AND PROGRAM PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 462C, AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE THEREFOR. WHEREAS Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462C, authorizes a city to plan. administer and make or purchase a loan or loans to finance one or more multifamily housing developments or the rehabilitation of multifamily housing developments after adoption of a housing plan; and WHEREAS, the housing plan must be considered at a public hearing held after notice published at least 30 days prior to the date of said hearing after which the housing plan may be adopted by resolution of the governing body of the city with or without amendment; and WHEREAS, the program for the issuance of bonds to finance a multifamily housing development must be considered at a public hearing after notice published at least 15 days prior to the date of said hearing after which the program may be adopted by resolution of the governing body of the city with or without amendment; and WHEREAS, there has been presented to this City Council (the "City Council") a proposal for the acquisition of land and rehabilitation of a 36-unit rental housing development by Sherman Boosalis Real Estate Fund III Limited Partnership, a Minnesota limited partnership, in the City (the "Project"); NOW, THEREFORE, BE /T RESOLVED THAT: 1. The City Council of the City of Stillwater will conduct a public hearing on the proposed housing plan and program for the Project on May 21, 1985, at 7:30 P. M. 2. The staff of the Washington County Housing and Redevelopment Authority is hereby authorized to cause a public notice, substantially in the form of the notice attached hereto as Exhibit A, to be published once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City at least thirty (30) days prior to the date established for the public hearing by the preceding paragraph of this resolution. The staff of the Washington County Housing and Redevelopment Authority is hereby authorized to proceed with the preparation of the housing plan and program relating to the Project, for presentation to this City council at the public hearing herein authorized. Mayor RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT OF nrF JOHNSON AS FULL-TIME SEWER MAINTENANCE WORKER IN THE CITY OF STILLWATER. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Stillwater, Minnesota that the employment of Jeff Johnson as Full -Time Sewer Maintenance Worker, from and after April 29, 1985, for a probationery period of six months, be, and the same is hereby approved; and that as compensation for services the said Jeff Johnson shall receive the sum of $11.20 per hour. This compensation to be received together with all other benefits of City Employment.
