WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of the Council adopted May 1, 1984 a report has been prepared by Short -Elliott -Hendrickson, Inc. with reference to street re- construction improvements for: South First Street from East Willard to East Orleans South Second Street from East Willard to East Orleans East Willard Street from South First Street to South Fourth Street East and West Churchill Streets from Sixth Avenue South to South Greeley Street; and WHEREAS, this report was received by the Council on February 21, 1985: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF STILLWATER, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and benefited properties for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $2,126,453.00. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 12th day of February, 1985, at 7:30 P. M. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, and the City Clerk shall give mailed notice and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
