BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Stillwater, Minnesota that the following mandatory bond levie for the year 1985 are changed as follows: ISSUE PRESCRIBED LEVY 1970 Sewer Plant Bonds -u- 290,000 Improvement Bonds of 1981 -0- Adopted by the Council this 9th day of October, 1984 Published: October 15, 1984 Attes Acting City Clerk LEVY $25,000 $65,799 RESOLUTION NO. 7394 RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT LOCAL IMPROVEMENT NO. 216. WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required b_• law, the Council has met and hear and passed upon all oojections to the proposed assessment for the following improvements: Watennains and services, sanitary sewer and services, stone sewer, street surfacing and other appurtenances to service all of the Westphal Heights Addition. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Stillwater: 1. That such proposed assessment is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of ten (10) years, the first of the installments to be payable en the first Monday in January, 1985 and shall bear interest at the rate of 10.25% per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the shall beteof addedhis interestufornuil one yeareon all unpaider 31, 85. To each isubsequent install- ment 3. The owner of any property so assessri may, at any time pri r to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor, pay the whole or any portion of the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City Treasurer the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accured to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must be made before November 15 or interest will be charged through December of the next succeeding year. 4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified cuplicate of this assessment to the County Auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County, and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
