RESOLUTION NO. 7249
RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT - LOCAL IMPROVEMENT NO. 212.
WHEREAS, by a motion passed by the Council on October 11, 1983, the City
Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment for the cost of the
bituminous surfacing of South Grove and South Hemlock Streets south of West
Pine Street.
AND WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment
has been completed and filed in her office for public inspection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF STILLWATER, MINNESOTA:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 1st day of November 1983, in the City
Hall at 7:30 P. M. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and
place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given
an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on
the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least
two weeks prior to the hearing, and she shall state in the notice the total cost
of the improvement. She shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner
of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to
the hearing.

BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Stillwater, Minnesota, that
the employment of the following persons as part-time 2amboni Operators at the
Lily Lake Recreation Center from and after October 17, 1983, be, and the same is
hereby approved:
Steven Finnegan
Ron Lehmann
Harley Hayden
John Wohlers
and that as compensation for services the above named persons will receive the
sum of $4.60 per hour.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the employment of Elizabeth Teed as a Skate Guard is
hereby approved and that as compensation for services the said Elizabeth Teed will
receive the sum of $3.75 per hour; and the employment of Sylvia O'Brien and
Michelle Ritzer as Concession Stand Attendants is hereby approved and that as
