HomeMy WebLinkAbout7247 (Res)• 126 • • RESOLUTION NO. 7247 RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE TAX LEVY FOR THE YEAR 1984 BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Stillwater, Minnesota that the sum of $1,807,267 be and the same is hereby levied against all of the taxable property of the City of Stillwater, Washington County, Minnesota for City purposes for the year 1984, to be collected with taxes for the following funds and the several amounts set opposite each thereof: General Fund $1,322,037 Debt Service Funds - 1963 Parking Facility Bonds 10,671 1966 Municipal Building Bonds 31,211 1970 Ice Arena Bonds 45,282 1970 Sewer Tratment Plant Bonds 78,204 1973 G. 0. Sanitary Sewer Revenue Bonds 35,000 Improvement Bonds of 1973 18,183 Improvement Bonds of 1977 18,119 G. O. Corporate Purpose Bonds of 1980 87,948 60,000 G. O. Corporate Purpose Bonds of 1983 106,575 Adopted by the Council this 4th day of October, 1983 Published: October 10, 1983 Mayor Attest: .P Ci Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 7248 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS, L. I. No. 210-2. WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the City Council on September 6, 1983, the Consulting Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the Slope Protection for Lowell Park and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF STILLWATER, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official newspaper and the Construction Bulietion for bids for making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the Clerk until 10:00 A. M. on October 27, 1983, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the City Hall by the City Clerk and Consulting Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the Council at 7:30 P. M. on November 1, 1983, in the Council Chambers, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City for ten percent (10%) of the amount of such bid.
