RESOLUTION N0. 7227
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT N0. 210.
WHEREAS, the Council did, by motion on July 20, 1983, authorize and direct the
City Clerk to advertise for bids returnable at 10:00 o'clock P. M. on Friday,
September 2, 1983, for the construction of the following described improvement:
RESTORE LOWELL PARK PAVILION
AND WHEREAS, it appears from the affidavits of publication presented by the City
Clerk that pursuant to said motion an advertisement for bids for said improvement
was duly published in the Stillwater Evening Gazette, official newspaper of the
City and in the Construction Bulletin;
AND WHEREAS, it appears that George Siegfried Construction, Lake Elmo is the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction of said improvement with a total bid of
$30,800.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Stillwater,
Minnesota:
1. That the bid of the said George Siegfried Construction, be, and the same is
hereby, accepted; and that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into a contract in the name of the City with the said George Sieg-
fried Construction for the construction of said improvement for the contract price
aforesaid and in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor.
2. That the City Clerk shall retain the deposits made with the three lowest bids
for 30 days from and after September 6, 1983 or until a contract is signed, whichever
event first occurs.
Adopted by the Council this 6th day of September, 1983

RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT NO. 215.
WHEREAS, the Council did authorize and direct the City Coordinator
proposals returnable at 4:00 o'clock P. M. on Tuesday, September 6,
construction of the following described improvement:
INSTALLATION OF NEW AND REMOVAL OF OLD LIGHTING FIXTURES
AND WHEREAS, it appears that L P D ELCTRIC, INC., Lake Elmo is the
sible bidder for the construction of said improvement with a total

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Stillwater,
Minnesota:
1. That the bid of the said LPD Electric, Inc., be and the same is hereby,
accepted; and that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to enter into a contract in the name of the City with the said LPD Electric, Inc. for
the construction of said improvement for the contract price aforesaid and in accordance
with the plans and specifications therefor.
