RESOLUTION NO. 7204
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
L. I. NOS. 201, 203 & 205.
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions passed by the Council on May 5, 1983, May 3, 1983
and June 7, 1983, the City's Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for
the following improvements:
L. I. No. 201 - watermains and services, sanitary sewer and services, storm sewer,
street surfacing and other appurtenances on West Orleans Street west of South
Greeley Street.
L. I. No. 203 - Sanitary Sewer, watermain, sewer and water services, drainage,
street construction and other appurtenances to service Radle's Hilltop Addition.
L. I. No. 205 - Surfacing, curb, gutter, sewer and watermains and services and
other appurtenances to service the Wildwood Pines and Wildwood Pines Second Addition;
and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF STILLWATER, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper
and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such
improvements under such approved plans and specifications. Said advertisement shall
specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the Clerk
until 10:00 A. M. on July 29, 1983, at which time they will be publicly opened in
the Council Chambers of the City Hall by the City Clerk and engineer, will then be
tabulated, and will be considered by the Council at 7:30 P. M. on August 1, 1983
in the Council Chambers, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed
with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or
certified check payable to the Clerk for ten percent (10%) of the amount of such bid.
