BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Stillwater, Minnesota, that the bid of ZIEGLER, INC., Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the amount of $60,112.00 for the sale and delivery to the City of a Diesel Articulated Wheel Drive Cater- pillar 930 Loader, which bid is hereby found to be the lowest responsible bid meeting specifications be, and the same is hereby accepted; and the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract on behalf of the City with the said Ziegler, Inc. for the purchase of said Diesel Articulated Four Wheel Caterpillar 930 Loader, said contract to be in accordance with the specifications and the proposal of the bidder which are on file in the office of the City Clerk. CitClerk $ 55,061.53 RESOLUTION NO. 7204 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS L. I. NOS. 201, 203 & 205. WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions passed by the Council on May 5, 1983, May 3, 1983 and June 7, 1983, the City's Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the following improvements: L. I. No. 201 - watermains and services, sanitary sewer and services, storm sewer, street surfacing and other appurtenances on West Orleans Street west of South Greeley Street. L. I. No. 203 - Sanitary Sewer, watermain, sewer and water services, drainage, street construction and other appurtenances to service Radle's Hilltop Addition. L. I. No. 205 - Surfacing, curb, gutter, sewer and watermains and services and other appurtenances to service the Wildwood Pines and Wildwood Pines Second Addition; and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF STILLWATER, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. Said advertisement shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the Clerk until 10:00 A. M. on July 29, 1983, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the City Hall by the City Clerk and engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the Council at 7:30 P. M. on August 1, 1983 in the Council Chambers, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for ten percent (10%) of the amount of such bid.
