RESOLUTION NO. 7176
RESOLUTION APPROVING EMPLOYMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Stillwater, Minnesota, that
the employment of James W. Arend as Building Inspector from and after May 23, 1983,
for a probationery period of six months, be, and the same is hereby approved; and
that as compensation for services the said James W. Arend shall receive the sum
of $1,666.67 per month together with all other benefits of City Employment.

RESOLUTION NO. 7177
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS, L. I. NO.201 - 1983.
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Counciladopted the 19th day of April, 1983,
fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement of West Orleans
Street beginning at South Greeley Street and running westerly for a distance of
approximately 544 feet.
AND WHEREAS, ten days' published notice of the hearing through two weekly publica-
tions of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon on the
5th day of May, 1983, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STILLWATER,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution
adopted the 19th day of April, 1983.
2. Short -Elliott -Hendrickson, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for
this improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for making of such
improvement.
