BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Stillwater act as sponsoring unit of government for the project entitled 'Old Town' Revitalization to be conducted during the period May 1, 1983 through April 30, 1984. Harry D. Peterson, Mayor is hereby authorized to apply to the Minnesota Department of Energy, Planning and Development for funding of this project on behalf of Stillwater. Adopted by the Council this 18th day of January, 1983. Published: January 24, 1983 Attest: `a� eP `l• ‘City Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 7149 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE OF LEGAL DESCRIPTION. It being revealed to the City Council that a certain parcel of land owned by the City of Stillwater has a boundary problem and that a survey has been performed by adjacent neighbors that would rectify the boundary problem, and that it would be in the public interest for the City of Stillwater to resolve the boundary problem and it could be so done with an exchange of quit claim deeds; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute a quit claim deed from the City of Stillwater for that real estate described as follows: That part of the East 1046.17 feet of the Southeast Quarter of Section 31, Township 30, Range 20, Washington County, Minnesota contained within the following described tract of land: Beginning at a point in the East line of said Se^tion 31, distant 130.90 feet South of the Northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter ofothe Southeast Quarter (SEk of SEk) of said Section, and running thence North 82 58' West 1337.70 feet to a point 33 feet North of the Northwest corner of said Southeas8 Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (SEk of SEk) of Section 31; thence North 89 51' West 1325.70 feet to a point in the quarter section line 66 feet North of the Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (SW% of SEk) of said section; thence South along said quarter section line 66 feet to said Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (SWk of SEk) of Section 31; thence East along the North line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (SWk, of SEk) of said section, 42 feet to the centerline of the Long Lake Road, so called; thence South 60 20' East along said centerline of said road, 351 feet; thence South 8r 31' East along said center line of said road, 2143 feet more or less to the centerline of the Stillwater and St. Paul Road, so called; thence Northeasterly along said centerline of the Stillwater and St. Paul Road, 315.6 feet to a point in the East line of said Section 31; thence North along said East line of said section, 33.3 feet to the point of beginning. and that the City of Stillwater is hereby authorized and directed to accept a return quit claim deed from the strawman involved in this transaction, the legal description of which is hereby described as follows: All that part of the East 1046.17 feet of the Southeast Quarter of Section 31, Township 30 North, Range 20 West, Washington County, Minnesota, contained within the following described parcel of land, to -wit: All that part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 31, Township 30 North, Range 20 West, Washington County, Minnesota, described as follows to -wit: Beginning at the northwest corner of the South Half of said Southeast Quarter of Section 31, thence South 89 degrees 25 minutes 16 seconds East, assumed bearing, along the northerly line of e of .00 feet; South 65said degreesth 12Half of minutes [he Souteat 11 secohdssEastarter a 214.95 feet; thence easterly thenceeasterly alonga tangential curve, concave to the north, radius 1333.12 feet, central angle 17 degrees 03 minutes 51 seconds, 397.04 feet; thence South 82 degrees 16 minutes 02 seconds East along tangent 806.81 feet; thence South 82 degrees 56 minutes 16 seconds East 1068.50 feet to the center line of Stillwater Boulevard North; thence North 34 degrees 51 minutes 17 seconds East along said center line 306.74 feet, more or less, to its (continued on page 44) a • • • 44 - 44 RESOLUTION NO. 7149 - continued intersection with easterly line of said Southeast Quarter; thence northerly along said easterly line to a point 130.90 feet southerly of the northeast corner of said South Half of the Southeast Quarter; thence westerly to a point in the westerly line of the Northeast Quarter of said Southeast Quarter distance 33.00 feet northerly of the southwest corner thereof; thene?westerly to a point in the westerly line of the Northwest Quarter of said Southeast Quarter distant 66.00 feet northerly of the southwest corner thereof; thence southerly along said westerly line 66.00 feet to the point of beginning.
