BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Stillwater, Minnesota, that for his faithful service to the City as a member of the Board of Water Commissioners, Alfred "BUD" Roepke, be, and he is hereby commended: That recognition be given to the fact that for the period of years he has been in office, the said Alfred "Bud" Roepke has served the City faithfully, efficiently, and courteously. The Council regrets that Mr. Roepke is retiring, but extends to him its best wishes for the future. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby authorized and directed to spread this resolution upon the official record of the proceedings of the City Council, and to deliver a certified copy thereof to the said Alfred "Bud" Roepke. Adopted by the City Council this 3rd day of July, 1984 Published: July 16, 1984 Attest: City Clerk/ Coordinator RESOLUTION NO. 7337 Mayor At - RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS - 1984 SEAL COATING. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF STILLWATER, MINNESOTA: That the City Engineer is hereby ordered to prepare plans and specifications for the 1984 Seal Coating Project. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Stillwater Gazette and the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such seal coating improvements. The advertisment shall be published and specify the work to be done, shall state that the bids will be opened and considered by the City at 10:00 A. M. on Thursday, July 26, 1984, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 216 North Fourth Street, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, or bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for 10% of the amount of such bid.
