Alderman c"ordwell,moved that the report of the committee be accepted, and
the matter of purchasing said property be refe_red to the purchasing Committee
with power to act, and upon roll call the motion was adopted by the following

President Johnson (8) voting Sera; Absent (1) Aide:ran wells.

the Ctulr declared b recess, after which the Council was called to order, end
Alderman King moved that the council ad,+.ourn to Apt. 23rd 1;13 at 8 o'clock,

Informal ballot% taken for City Assessor vlu?h res-. lted as follows;
Carl E. Hawkins received 5 votes and J. R. Chunnon received 4 votes;
Formal ba11olt taken which gave r,>rle E. Hawkins 5 votes and J. R. Chanson 4
votes, and Carl E. Hawkins having received a mo;:.r ity of all votes was declared
duly elected as City Assessor for ;he ensuing term.
