HomeMy WebLinkAbout6794-6795 (Res.)216 • • L RESOLUTION NO. 6794 RESOLUTION GRANTING A PERMIT FOR THE USE OF LOWELL PARK. BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Stillwater, Minnesota, that a temporary license is hereby granted to the St. Croix Valley Area Chamber of Commerce for the exclusive right to the use of Lowell Park for the period of July 31 through August 3, 1980, for the operation of concessions and similar services for the public in connection with Lumberjack Days 1980. Such license shall include the right to grant to other organizations the right to operate such concessions and services upon payment to Licensee of a reason- able compensation. Such license shall not be construed to authorize the Licensee to exclude the general public from Lowell Park during the license period. The Chamber of Commerce shall be responsible for cleanup immediately following the conclusion of all activities held in the Park during said period. Adopted by the Council this 20th day of May„ 1980. Published: May 30, 1980 Mayor Attest: c9 Ci Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 6795 RESOLUTION APPROVING REAPPORTIONMENT OF ASSESSMENTS. BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Stillwater, Minnesota as follows: 1. That a Reapportionment of the Assessments heretofore levied for Local Improvement Nos. 129 and 157 and now on file in the office of the City Clerk is hereby approved as a reapportionment of the assessments for said improvements. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to mail notice of this action to all owners of any part of the tracts that are affected. 3. Each owner shall have the right to appeal from this reapportionment as provided in Section 429.081 of the Minnesota Statutes and the appeal shall be made to the City Council within thirty (30) days of the mailing of this notice. 4. That this reapportionment will not materially impair collection of the unpaid balance of the original assessments against the tracts. 5. That thirty (30) days from the mailing of this notice, the City Clerk shall transmit to the County Auditor a certified duplicate of the reapportioned assessment roll to be extended upon the proper lists of the County and the County Auditor shall thereafter dollect said assessments in the manner provided by law.
