HomeMy WebLinkAbout6774-6775 (Res.)• 1.99 • • • RESOLUTION NO. 6774 RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPOINTMENT OF POLICE OFFICER. BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City if Stillwater, Minnesota, that the appointment of Timothy Klenk as a part-time police officer of the City for a probationery period of not to exceed six months commencing April 16, 1980, be, and the same is hereby, confirmed, that as such police officer the Said Timothy Klenk shall have the powers of a police officer at common law or under the laws of the State of Minnesota, and it shall be his duty to serve warrants, summons, writs, subpeonas or other process issued by the Washington County Municipal Court; to command the peace, suppress riot- ing or disorderly conduct within the City and to arrest, with or without a warrant, as authorized by the laws of this State, persons charged with the commission of any public offense under the laws of the State of Minnesota or the ordinances of the City, and to perform any and all other duties incidental to the office of a policeman as directed by the Mayor, City Coordinator or the Director of Public Safety; and that the said Timothy Klenk shall receive as compensation for services rendered as such police officer the sum of $5.00 per hour. Published: April 22, 1980 Mayor Attest: rt{,._._._[Tn-s�-,,e. ,�1 �-u- CityO Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 6775 RESOLUTION APPROVING EMPLOYMENT BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Stillwater, Minnesota, that the employment of Gregory Tuenge and Sammy McKay, as members of the Stillwater Police Reserves from and after April 16, 1980, of a probationerY period of six months, be, and the same is hereby approved; and that as compensation for services the said Gregory Tuenge and Sammy McKay shall receive the sum of $4.00 per hour.
