RDELOCALIMPROVEMENT NO. PREPARATIONR67OF FINAL PLANS AND
SOIUIIONIO
WHEREAS, by resolution adopted May 22, 1979, this Council did fix a date for
a public hearing on proposed improvements consisting of the following:
Sewer and water services and street construction and other
appurtenances on Lookout Street from Birchwood Drive to its
terminus.
AND WHEREAS, pursuant to notice duly published in the Stillwater Evening
Gazette, official newspaper of the City, on the 14th day of June, 1979, and
on the 21st day of June, 1979, and mailed as required by law, said hearing
was held at the Municipal Building at 7:30 o'clock P. M., on Tuesday, the 26th
day of June, 1979, at which time and place all persons desiring to be heard on
said improvements were given an opportunity to be heard.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Stillwater,
Minnesota:
1. That the aforesaid improvement be, and is hereby, ordered as propsoed
at an estimated cost of $27,900.00 and that the Engineer is hereby ordered to
prepare final plans and specifications for said improvements.

RESOLUTION NO. 6715
RESOLUTION ORDERING LOCAL IMPROVEMENT NO. 152 AND DIRECTING THE CLERK TO
ADVERTISE FOR BIDS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Stillwater, Washington County,
Minnesota as follows:
1. It is hereby found and determined that notice of hearing on Street, Sewer
and Water Improvement in the City was duly mailed on the loth day of May, 1979,
and published in the Stillwater Gazette, the official newspaper of the City, on the
llth day of May and the 18th day of May, 1979, as required by Minnesota Statutes,
Chapter 429, and as ordered by resolution of this Council adopted on April 10, 1979.
2. A public hearing having been held on the 22nd day of May, 1979 and continued
on June 12, 1979 and opportunity having been given at such hearing to all persons
to make known their views on said improvement, and this Council being fully advised
of the pertinent facts, does hereby order the construction of said improvement, in
accordance with the description thereof contained in said notice of hearing.
3. Said improvement is hereby designated and shall hereafter be referred to
as "Local Improvement No. 152".
4. Short, Elliott, Hendrickson, Inc., the consulting engineer for the City, is
hereby authorized and directed to prepare final plans and specifications for said
improvement and to submit them to this Council.
5. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids on
the construction of said improvement, publication thereof to be made at least once
in the official newspaper of the City, no less than ten days prior to the date
hereinafter set for opening and consideration of bids. Said advertisement shall
specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be publicly opened for
consideration by the Council at 2:00 o'clock P. M. on Tuesday, July 10, 1979,and
shall further state no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the

Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified
check, payable to the City, for at least ten (10) percent of the amount of the
bid.
